Of all the human resources, Creativity is the most precious tool. It can trigger in positive forces and help create a New Society. Creativity, in actual practice, is the spark of a genius that generates new thought process. It eventually leads to useful products or new planks and platforms. In time, it can change the every course of history! Creativity has been defined as the ability to produce original, bold new concepts that can contribute to development of a new culture in any society. The eminent psychologist, Torrance, who is also considered to be the father of this new discipline, has given the following definition:

"The process of creativity consists of sensing problems or gaps in information, forming ideas or hypotheses, testing and modifying these hypotheses and communicating the results."

It is this last point of communicating the results that calls for writing, all the more so the "Creative Writing". Creativity means exceptional abilities that send a man/woman on an inner voyage of discovery. Speaking operationally, Creativity may be compared to a diamond, whose multiple facets are being polished and developed for the greater good of the mankind. In the day-to-day life, Creativity means a new solution, a new invention or a fresh way of thinking. Else, it could be a breakthrough in the long standing problem or even a chronic disease like AIDS or Cancer. Creativity is expressed in terms of a product, say a poem or a play, a new book, a song or symphony. Compared to an ordinary writing, Creative writing bears the special imprint of writer's imagination. It exudes an aura or flavor distinctly his/her own. It is like the haunting fragrance of roses midst a pile of green foliage.

'Diving Into Heart' and 'Among The Stars - Life and Dreams of Kalpana Chawla' in English & 'Miti De Ghar' in Punjabi, these are the three books which I penned. I write in solitude when I long for a person who can fill dangerous vacuum of my heart. My books are presentation of my deep feelings & expression of my inner self; moreover these books are my true-self.
